BEWARE THE RELIGIOUS

Religious can hinder you to receive and keep your miracle. This kind of person does so because he had a real experience with God, but a mere mental persuasion. Now this kind of faith is dangerous because, besides not help anything, hinders those who must live by the law of liberty, the Gospel. Religion is so pernicious that their fans come to accept as normal some wrong attitudes.
In John's gospel, we see that the blind faith of this man made him 38 years sitting on the edge of the pit, waiting to be healed. He should be extremely religious. However, with the passage of time, someone has probably become full of sorrows and hopeless. To be visited by Jesus, nor acknowledged that his opportunity had come. But wisely, the Savior did act correctly: he no longer needed prayer, but action.
Religion has not healed this man in any of the six days of the week that there were no restrictions. Indeed, religious Jews understood neither the meaning of the Sabbath. Today, we see people with good heart, being zealous in religious causes that do not help. But if they do not open their eyes one day when they wake up on the other side, summer unsaved and everything done with blind faith was a waste of time.
Jesus is sovereign over all religious precept. It can turn into a saint who, for example, is out of the Way of the Lord, is in crime or in any other practice of the devil. Religion intimidates up with the situation of someone like that, because to her, who was born poor will die in that same condition. What has been invested with evil in the name of some religion serves to prove that it has no basis in truth. Only the Gospel - not religion - is the power of God for salvation and all other blessings.
If religious people were God's, should have made the biggest party in Jerusalem, because, after all, was healed a man who was paralyzed was 38 years. If they feared the Lord, there would be no disputes we have today before our eyes. Fear makes people respect the differences and even the diseases are cured of the next. Those who truly serve the Almighty rejoice in what He does for the needy.
The man knew the religious precept, but did not want to obey the Single des able to give him back to health. By believing in the descent of an angel, he got most of his waking life.
